Dr. Ohling has been practicing as a Naturopathic Doctor since 2010. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University, Dr. Ohling attended and graduated from the oldest naturopathic medical school in the nation, The National University of Natural Medicine in Portland Oregon. He then spent 3 years practicing in Oregon and 3 years practicing in Washington State before coming to Utah. As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Ohling completed a four-year medical school and passed national and state board exams before practicing. As with all naturopathic doctors, Dr. Ohling believes in the healing power of nature, the body’s own innate ability to heal, treating the cause, treating the body as a whole, prevention, doing no harm, and the doctor as the teacher (for more information about Naturopathic Doctors please see www.naturopathic.org). Dr. Ohling has 100’s of hours of training in Hormone therapy, prolotherapy, methylation, IV therapy, endocrinology, the use of stem cells, and treating chronic medical conditions. He has performed thousands of IVs and prolotherapy injections and spent a year in a clinic that specialized in Hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Ohling has used stem cells for over two years with patients that are suffering from joint pain, musculoskeletal pain, and chronic medical conditions such as Lyme and autoimmune disorders. Dr. Ohling is not only highly trained but highly experienced in the use of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, anti-aging treatments, endocrine disorders, treating PCOS/endometriosis/hormone imbalances, and testosterone therapy as well as many other conditions. As a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Ohling is a functional and alternative medicine expert and treats the patient as a person not as a symptom. He believes that what a patient tells him is the most important thing and labs should only be used to confirm a diagnosis. He feels labs are used far too often to make a diagnosis. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, four kids, and his granddaughter. If Dr. Ohling is not at home, you can find him enjoying the outdoors skiing with his family, hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking.
